Allow me to extend my sincere welcome to you as a new graduate student and a member of the Aggie family! We are delighted that you have chosen Texas A&M University to pursue your graduate studies. I welcome you to one of the premier student-centered research-intensive universities in the country.
We are a community of people who are changing the world daily. But we are also a family. Our dedicated faculty, outstanding resources and unifying traditions create an environment that nurtures close interactions among students and faculty. Texas A&M’s research extends throughout the planet, and even into outer space, as we strive to lead the world in teaching and research. At Texas A&M, ethics and values are emphasized and our vision for the future is simple: We will continue to have a positive impact on humankind.
