  • Distance Learning Regulations

At Texas A&M, distance learning operates according to the procedures outlined by The Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board (THECB) Rules http://www.thecb.state.tx.us/AAR/DistanceEd/default.cfm, policies defined by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS), and policies defined by the Southern Region Education Board (SREB).  We include important THECB rules for distance learning, along with SACS and SREB documents describing distance learning policies and good practices.  Faculty will be interested in knowing the requirements for distance learning as outlined by these agencies.
