Master of Industrial Distribution
Industrial Distribution online graduate degree program offered by the Department of Engineering Technology & Industrial Distribution in the Texas A&M Dwight Look College of Engineering.
Program Summary
The Master of Industrial istribution (MID) is a 30-credit hour program tailored to meet the needs of high potential managers in distribution. The curriculum is designed to provide the critical skills and knowledge necessary to be successful in the challenging industry. 
Web-based
Courses are delivered through the Internet. Students earn a graduate degree in distribution with little disruption to their business operations. They can work and live anywhere in the world while participating in the program.
Lock-Step
Students enter into the program at the same time and take the same courses simultaneously.
Two Year Degree Program
The master's degree takes two years to complete.
Residency Requirement
Students attend a total of two weeks in residency at Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas. One week is scheduled each year of the program.
Company Sponsorship
Companies are encouraged to pay for employees to attend and complete the program. However, there are several options:
- Company Sponsorship: Students’ employers are encouraged to fund their complete education.
- Partial Sponsorship: Students and their employers may share the cost of education in any proportion. For example, the student and the employer may each fund half the program cost.
- Self Payment: Students may fund their complete education.
Curriculum
Curriculum includes 30 credit hours of business perspective courses and industrial distribution courses. In addition to all Web-based course work, there are two separate one week sessions in-residence at Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas. Call us at 979-845-4984 for residency week dates. Admission Requirements
Candidates must have a bachelor's degree. Professional experience is recommended. Managerial experience is preferred.
