What is DE at Texas A&M?

Here at A&M, we define Distance Education programs (degrees or certificates) as involving a program in which a student may complete more than one-half of the semester credit hours required for the program through a combination of distance education courses. Distance education courses are web-based (online) courses and are classified in to two categories: Web-Based On Campus and Web-Based Off Campus.
